January 15, 1947, Hollywood, California. The lifeless body of a young woman is discovered severed at the waist, drained of all blood and washed clean. As the story goes, she was an aspiring actress who’d come to Hollywood to chase her dreams of fame, but she’d only be known for her gruesome death.
